Safe Passage releases eight of nine marlin in 62nd Port Antonio tournament
PORTLAND, Jamaica — Safe Passage released five marlin on the second day of the 62nd Port Antonio International Blue Marlin Tournament at Ole Marina, bringing the team’s overall tally to eight.
Angler Christopher Berry released two marlin on the day, moving his personal count to three and placing him as the leading angler so far. Samuel Millington, Conrad Berry and Isaiah Aleong were responsible for the others released.
A total of nine marlin have been released in the tournament so far.
Saturday will be the final day of competition, with fishing set to begin at 7:00 am and will end at 4.00 pm, followed by prize-giving at 7:00 pm.
Safe Passage is well on its way to capturing the 62nd tournament title, unless fortunes change on Saturday, the final day of fishing.
