Trelawny crash victim identified as 68-y-o St Mary man
TRELAWNY, Jamaica — Police have identified the man who died following a two-vehicle collision on the North Coast Highway in Trelawny on Thursday afternoon.
He is 68-year-old Lewis Crosbie of Wentworth Drive, Galena, St Mary.
According to reports, around 4:15 pm Crosbie was travelling in a Toyota Fortuner with three passengers, heading towards St Ann. On reaching the Braco area, Crosbie’s vehicle reportedly collided with a Suzuki motorcar travelling in the opposite direction.
Police and firefighters responded to the scene, and both drivers, along with the three injured passengers from the Fortuner, were taken to hospital for treatment. Crosbie was, however, pronounced dead..
The conditions of the injured passengers are not immediately known.
The Trelawny police are continuing their investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
