Jonielle Smith wins women’s 60m in Germany
Two days after stunning the field at the BAUHAUS Gala Indoor in Sweden, Jamaica’s Jonielle Smith won the women’s 60m final at Saturday’s ISTAF Indoor Dusseldorf in Germany.

Smith found the going easier this time around, compared to her win over the Clayton twins on Thursday, winning in 7.15 seconds.
Germany’s Jolina Ernst took second with 7.30 seconds and Switzerland’s Geraldine Di Tizio Frey placed third in 7.31 seconds.
In the meantime, world leader Danniel Thomas-Dodd was second in the women’s shot put with 18.71m, beaten by Germany’s Yemisi Ogunyele who threw 18.78m. Sweden’s Fanny Roos was third with 18.52m.
Jamaica’s Nishon Ebanks finished sixth in the men’s 60m where he ran 6.72 seconds.
