Romae Gordon walks Chanel runway in Paris
Romae Gordon walked the runway in central Paris on Tuesday for Chanel’s Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2026 collection show.
It was Chanel’s new chief designer Matthieu Blazy’s debut Haute Couture collection, inspired by birds and nature.
The vast Grand Palais exhibition space in central Paris was transformed into an enchanted and psychedelic forest populated by giant mushrooms and pink weeping willows.
Gordon took to the runway wearing a double-breasted jacket featuring peak lapels and button appliqués, paired with sheer skirting and feathered hemline.
A trailblazing Jamaican international model, Gordon was the first Jamaican to appear on the cover of a British magazine, a feat she accomplished when she graced the cover of Slimmer.
Gordon modelled for years in Europe, Africa and the United States, represented by Elite Premier in London, G3 in South Africa and Wilhelmina in New York. Her clients included Cosmopolitan magazine, Macy’s, Champion sportswear, JCPenny and Gillette.
She is the former co-managing director of Pulse Investments.
