Gas prices up $1.20, $1.17, diesel up $2.44
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, January 29, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
90-octane will be sold for $156.05 per litre after an increase of $1.17, while 87-octane will be sold for $149.51 per litre up by $1.20.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $162.71 per litre after an increase of $2.44 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $169.70 per litre $3.06.
Kerosene increased by $3.06 and will be sold for $150.70 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $72.01 per litre up by $1.44 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $80.05 per litre after an increase of $1.41.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
