Coral Cliff Sunday Brunch

Coral Cliff Sunday Brunch

After an absence following the passage of Hurricane Melissa, one of Montego Bay’s most beloved culinary rituals has found its way back to the table.

Coral Cliff’s, the Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards – winning Best Sunday Spot, has officially restarted its signature Sunday brunch, marking a welcome return to normalcy for both locals and visitors eager for the experience.

The hurricane’s impact forced a temporary pause on operations, but the December 2025 relaunch was met with immediate enthusiasm. Guests wasted no time in reclaiming one of their favourite Sunday rituals.

According to Assistant General Manager G’Oweneth Tharkur, the response since reopening has been overwhelmingly positive.

“We kept getting requests asking when brunch would be back. We decided to do the brunch a little bigger and to elevate the experience. The changes have been received with enthusiasm, as our loyal and new supporters have expressed satisfaction with the additions,” Tharkur said.

The comeback also arrives with refreshed culinary offerings. While Coral Cliff maintains the relaxed, social atmosphere that earned it national recognition, the kitchen has introduced new menu highlights. Patrons can now indulge in culinary fusions with salsas, prosciutto, classic eggs Benedict, alongside coastal selections such as a seafood boil featuring clams, mussels, lobster, and shrimp, reinforcing the property’s connection to the sea and its commitment to bold, satisfying flavours. The brunch also retains its Jamaican staples including curry goat and ackee and salt fish, as well as desserts including bread and cornmeal pudding.

“It’s more than just a dining experience; the return comes with our gaming offerings during brunch. Our bingo during brunch gives patrons the chance to win prizes. The restart signals confidence, continuity, and the simple joy of gathering once again — Sundays restored to their rightful place on the calendar. The support from the community and our guests has been truly encouraging, and it reaffirmed how special this experience is to people,” Tharkur added.
