Kiprich and Kizzy lose their newborn, Miracle
In a sad turn of events, dancehall artistes Kiprich and Kizzy Don’s newborn daughter, Miracle, has died.
A close relative of the mother confirmed the child’s death with Observer Online on Thursday.
Miracle was born prematurely while the couple was on a work trip in Colombia.
The infant had remained in intensive care at a medical facility in the South American country while the couple sought to raise funds needed to airlift the baby to the United States, where she can receive specialised medical treatment.

According to reports, Kizzy had accompanied her partner to a stage show in Colombia. However, the unexpected early arrival of their child left the couple stranded overseas and facing severe financial challenges.
Due to Miracle’s premature birth and limited access to advanced medical facilities in Colombia, the couple said an estimated J$40 million was needed to airlift the baby for treatment in the United States.
The GoFundMe campaign had raised more than US$27,000 of the US$250,000 target.
