Six vie for Manhunt Jamaica crown
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Six young men are vying for the Manhunt Jamaica Supermodel title, with the winner to be announced on Saturday and earning the right to represent Jamaica at the Manhunt International Supermodel competition in Sri Lanka in May.
The finalists were selected from a field of professional and aspiring male models from across Jamaica and the Jamaican Diaspora in the United States (US) and Canada, who participated in the private casting call late last year.
Jamaica’s representative to the 2025 Manhunt International Supermodel competition, Rhyeme Wright, finished in third place.
Manhunt International is one of the most prestigious male model competitions, where contestants were judged on a number of attributes including best commercial model, best catwalk, best runway model, best physique, best continental model, and best in formal wear.
The finalists in the Manhunt Jamaica Supermodel competition are 20-year-old delivery assistant, Daekon Burnett; 27-year-old business entrepreneur, Kenroy Reid; 29-year-old, assistant warehouse manager, Omario Wright; 22-year-old medical assistant, Javon Powell; 20-year-old culinary student, Kile Lewin and 25-year-old digital marketing strategist, Dario Lopez.
Established in 1993, Manhunt International is the world’s first and longest running international male model contest. Known for its worldwide search for the best male model, Manhunt International is organised in a macho way with outdoor activities, thrilling events and public presentations.
The Top 5 from the Manhunt International competition, will receive a one-year modeling contract with Manhunt International and its affiliate worldwide partners.
