Arsenal to put away Leeds in EPL action

Title pressure meets a banana skin when stuttering Premier League leaders Arsenal travels to in-form Leeds for an eagerly anticipated clash, after which, struggling Liverpool hosts a faltering Newcastle side that has struggled on the road recently.

Event # 1 – EPL – Leeds vs Arsenal – 10:00 AM

Arsenal travels to Elland Road tomorrow to square off against Leeds at a time where confidence, control and composure are all being tested, as it appears as if defensive cracks are beginning to show. With that said, for Arsenal, this match is about reaffirming their title credentials, as despite sitting a top the league by four points, recent results have created anxiety around their performances, and another slip here could open the door for the chasing Manchester city and Aston Villa to enter. Indeed, they arrive at Leeds winless in their last three league games, following goalless draws at home against Liverpool and at Nottingham Forest, then a 3-2 home defeat to Man United last weekend.

Leeds is hard to beat at home and head into this match unbeaten in their last five home matches, and they are also unbeaten in six of their last 11 Premier League home matches against their upcoming opponents, Arsenal. With that said, a few weeks ago, Leeds was struggling in the relegation zone, however, in recent months, they have regained form, having gone unbeaten in 10 of their last 11 matches. They are undefeated in five straight home matches, including a 3-1 win over Chelsea and a 2-2 draw with Liverpool. Indeed, Leeds has suffered just two league defeats at home so far this season and have scored in 10 of their last 11 games at Elland Road. However, In their last home match against Arsenal in October 2022, Leeds were beaten 1-0.

Key Stats

• Leeds is unbeaten in the last five home matches and has lost just one of the last six league games.

• Arsenal is winless in the last three league matches but has won four of the last six overall matches.

• Both sides – Arsenal has won six of the last seven away matches in all competitions while the last time Leeds defeated Arsenal at Elland came back in 2000.

The betting tip: Draw.

Event # EPL – Liverpool vs Newcastle – 3:00 PM

All eyes will be at Anfield tomorrow as the race for Champions League heats up, when Liverpool hosts Newcastle in an expected humdinger of a clash. It has been a miserable start to 2026 for the defending Premier League side as they have failed to win a singe league game so far, with pressure now mounting on coach Arne Slot to be relieved of his job, despite guiding the Reds to only their second Premier League title this century, in his first season in charge. However, there has been an alarming drop off in form this season, despite the club spending half a billion dollars on new signings. Indeed, defensive issues continues to impact their progress, and it was evident last weekend in a 3-2 loss away to Bournemouth. Alarmingly, since the opening day of the season, Liverpool has failed to score more than once in the last ten matches at home, averaging just over 1.12 home goals per game, which is the lowest since the 2011/12 campaign.

Newcastle continues to falter on the road as they have won just two of the last eleven matches away from home, while averaging less than one goal per game. Just a few weeks ago Newcastle appeared to be on course to solidify a Champions League spot, after winning three league matches on the bounce, however, their form has since dropped, as they have picked up just one point from their last two leagues matches. With that said, Liverpool thumped Qarabag 6-0 at home in mid-week Champions League action while Newcastle secured a credible 1-1 draw away at reigning European champions PSG. However, Newcastle’s poor record on the road is impossible to overlook as they travel to Liverpool, and it should be noted that Liverpool is unbeaten in the last 18 home matches against Newcastle, winning 13 during this run.

Key Stats

• Liverpool has failed to win a single league game since the start of 2026.

• Newcastle has failed to win away at Liverpool in the last 30 matches, with the last victory coming back in 1994.

• Both sides – Liverpool has not lost a home match against Newcastle since 1994, while winning eight of the last nine head-to-head meetings.

The betting tip: Draw.
