Whine and Kotch, a 2012 release by J Capri and Charly Black, produced by Rvssian, has been certified silver in the United Kingdom.
The song, which topped multiple iTunes Reggae charts across Europe upon its release in late 2012, was certified by the British Phonographic Industry on Friday, January 30, for the sales and streaming equivalent of 200,000 units.
Whine and Kotch are among a handful of hits that J Capri scored prior to her death in 2015 in a motor vehicle accident.
This is the second Brit-certified single for Charly Black. His global smash Gyal Yuh a Party Animal was previously certified gold by the BPI.
The official video for Whine and Kotch, directed by Dennis Brown, has amassed more than 78 million views on YouTube.
