WATCH: 9-year-old Amoya Moore’s funeral underway
MANCHESTER, Jamaica —— Grieving family and friends are now gathering at the Cross Keys Church of God of Prophecy in south Manchester to bid farewell to nine-year-old Amoya Moore who died on December 9 when she was struck by a garbage truck.
The pink casket bearing the remains of the Villa Road Primary student was decorated with images of her along with the words, “rest peacefully our angel”.
On December 9, shortly after walking by the garbage truck, metres away from her house, and telling the crew, “Good morning”, the grade four student was struck by the truck.

The tragedy unfolded about 7:00 am on Bonitto Heights off Bonitto Crescent in Mandeville.
