Driver injured in collision at Lyndhurst Road, Beechwood Avenue intersection

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The driver of a Toyota Regius Ace motor van was taken to hospital Tuesday morning following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Lyndhurst Road and Beechwood Avenue in St Andrew.

Reports are that the driver of the Toyota Regius Ace was travelling along Lyndhurst Road towards Maxfield Avenue, while the driver of the truck was travelling along Beechwood Avenue in the direction of Half-Way Tree Road when the vehicles collided.

The driver of the van was then taken to the hospital. The extent of his injuries is not yet known.
