Mount Pleasant maintains position in Concacaf rankings
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Caribbean Cup champions Mount Pleasant Football Association (MPFA) maintained their first place in the latest Concacaf club monthly rankings published on Tuesday.
Mount Pleasant FA who have earned a bye to the quarterfinals of the Concacaf Champions Cup is 66th overall in the confederation that includes North, Central and South America as well as the Caribbean.
Jamaica Premier League (JPL) leaders Montego Bay United moved up five places to be fifth in the Caribbean, 111th overall while JPL defending champions Cavalier Soccer Club (SC) fell 10 places to 113 overall and seventh in the Caribbean.
Meanwhile, Racing United, second in the JPL moved up 15 places to be 144th overall, the biggest movers in the latest rankings while Dunbeholden Football Club (FC) were also big movers, up seven places to 145th.
