Police probe double murder in Norwood ZOSO

ST JAMES, Jamaica — The St James police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding a double murder in the Norwood Zone of Special Operations (ZOSO) after the bullet-riddled bodies of two unidentified men were discovered Tuesday morning.

The Norwood ZOSO had recorded no murders or shootings in 2025, and similarly, no murders were reported in the area in 2024.

Police told Observer Online that they were summoned after residents stumbled upon the two bodies on Tuesday morning. This followed reports from residents who said they heard “what sounded like gunshots” in the area on Monday night.

Upon their arrival, the police discovered the bodies, both bearing multiple gunshot wounds.
