Senor Biscotti returns with convincing win
After finishng down the track in the Wayne DaCosta Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes on December 26, 2025, Senor Biscott returned to the races on Saturday, January 31, 2026 and easily brushed aside rivals in a maiden condition race.
Senor Biscotti, trained by Richard Azan and ridden by Raddesh Roman, won the 6 ½-furlong (1,300m) event by a length and three-quarters. The three-year-old bay colt Senor Biscotti stopped the clocked in 1:22.3. (24.1 x 48.4 x 1:15.4).
Roman got Senor Biscotti out of the starting gates in good order as the bay colt led ahead of
Code Red (Reyan Lewis), Red ThirtyTwo (Christopher Mamdeen), and London Spirit (Robert Halledeen). Going into the half-mile (800m), Minnehaha (Tevin Foster) surged ahead of Senor Biscotti and took field into the lane.
Senor Biscotti reclaimed the lead in deep stretch and went on to win easily at the wire. London Spirit finished second and Red ThirtyTwo finished in third place.
