Gas prices up $0.17, $0.18, diesel up $1.18
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see increases at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, February 5, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
90-octane will be sold for $156.23 per litre after an increase of $0.17, while 87-octane will be sold for $149.69 per litre, up by $0.18.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $163.89 per litre after an increase of $1.18, and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $170.65 per litre, up $0.95.
Kerosene increased by $3.06 and will be sold for $153.76 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $71.76 per litre, down $0.25, and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $80.08 per litre after a small increase of $0.03.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-ups to these prices.
