Third pedestrian dies in Manchester crash in two days
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A pedestrian died as a result of injuries he sustained after being struck by a motorcar on the Old Greenvale Road in Mandeville, Manchester early Sunday morning.
The incident has increased to three, the number of pedestrian deaths in road crashes in Manchester since Thursday night.
In the latest incident, a man was struck by a Subaru motorcar about 1:20 am on the Old Greenvale Road. He died at the scene.
On Friday afternoon 14-year-old Lakeea Thompson, a student of May Day High, succumbed to her injuries after she was struck by a reversing Coaster bus.

On Thursday about 11:00 pm, a pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident on the Spur Tree Hill main road.
