Flow taps creative industry to deliver impactful internet safety message
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Telecommunications provider Flow has partnered with the local creative industry to deliver its 2026 internet safety message with greater impact and reach.
The company premiered a five-minute original skit produced in collaboration with Project Quilt on Tuesday, February 10, observed globally as Safer Internet Day.
Through humour, storytelling and familiar family dynamics, the production addresses everyday online risks while reinforcing the importance of safer, more responsible digital behaviour.
“Flow remains a local leader in this global effort to improve internet safety and to educate users about the risks of improper use, especially among young people,” said Stephen Price, vice president and general manager of Flow.

“This year we refreshed our approach by partnering with local theatre creatives and using storytelling that is both authentic and compelling. We are proud to support the expansion of locally produced edu-tainment on this topic, work that will deepen impact far beyond Safer Internet Day,” he added.
Set in a family home, the skit explores how common online situations can quickly escalate, while showing how open communication and simple safety practices can make a meaningful difference.
The content will be made available via local television stations and Flow’s social media channels. In addition to this initiative, Flow is taking its internet safety message directly to students through a Safer Internet Day school tour, focused on in-person engagement and dialogue.
