Kiaman McGregor reaches 100 winners at Turf Paradise
JAMAICAN jockey Kiaman McGregor continued to make his presence felt on the international riding circuit as he reached the landmark of 100 winners at Turf Paradise in Arizona, USA, on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
McGregor rode two winners to reach his milestone. His first winner was in the fourth race aboard
Pepper Mill, trained by Edward Kereluk. Pepper Mill won the Allowance Optional Claiming race over six furlongs by 7½ lengths, beating Go Go Sadie (Jose Asencio) and Diamante Elegante (Alex Cruz). The final time was 1:08.2.
McGregor quickly followed up in the fifth race when he partnered the Marcelino Trujillo-conditioned
Acclaimed Preacher to victory going one mile. Acclaimed Preacher won by 1½ lengths in a time of 1:37.4, beating Willing to Burn (Manuel Americano) and C Her Beauty (Karlo Lopez).
