Man charged for allegedly harbouring fugitive in St Mary
ST MARY, Jamaica — The St Mary police have charged a man in relation to the offence of harbouring a fugitive following investigations carried out in the parish.
Charged is 71-year-old Terrence Beecham, a farmer of Sports Road, Islington, St Mary.
Reports are that sometime between December 2025 and February 2, 2026, Beecham knowingly harboured Kerrin Bailey, an office administrator of a Kingston address, at his home.
Bailey was at the time wanted for murder and wounding with intent in connection with an incident along Elletson Road in Kingston.
The police acted on information received and, following investigations, Beecham was taken into custody. He was subsequently charged after a question-and-answer session.
The St Mary police are reminding citizens that it is against the law to harbour fugitives and are urging members of the public to cooperate with law enforcement by providing information that can assist in the apprehension of wanted individuals.
