Man charged with three murders in Manchester, another warned to surrender
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — Police in Manchester have charged a man with three counts of murder stemming from two incidents including a double murder on February 1.
Charged with murder is CJ Wilson, 21, a resident of Old England in Manchester.
Wilson, who was initially listed as a person of interest in relation to three murders in Old England and Ellen Street, surrendered to the police days after the incident.
Those killed are Raheem Ward, 22, otherwise called Richie Rich; Adrian Reid; and David Brown, 33.
Ward and Reid were killed in Old England in the vicinity of a bar, while Brown was gunned down at his home in Ellen Street about 1:40 am on Sunday, February 1.
Head of the Manchester police Carey Duncan lauded the division’s detectives for solving the murders.
“This I would say is testament of the quality of work being done by the Manchester police as it relates to solving major crimes within the space,” he said on Tuesday.
Duncan is urging another person of interest, Orane Nelson, to surrender to the police.
“If you fail to surrender to us by 9:00 am Wednesday, February 11, 2026 then certainly we will be coming for you,” said Duncan.
