St Elizabeth murder suspect apprehended in St Mary
ST MARY, Jamaica — The St Mary police have apprehended a man who was wanted in connection with a murder committed in St Elizabeth.
He has been identified as 44-year-old Damion Salmon, otherwise called “Dave”, a farmer of Hodgesland, Black River, St Elizabeth.
Salmon was wanted in relation to the murder of Peter Burke, which occurred on January 12, 2026 in the community.
Reports are that he was arrested during a targeted operation at a premises located on Cox Street, Port Maria, St Mary between the hours of 11:00 pm on Friday and 7:30 am on Saturday, February 7.
