Jamaica make one change to Concacaf U17 game against Canada
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica made one change to their starting lineup for the crucial Concacaf Group G Under-17 boys World Cup qualifying top of the tables game against Canada in Costa Rica on Wednesday.
Raheem Kelly replaced Kai Williamson from the team that beat Cayman Island 12-0 on Sunday for Wednesday’s game.
A point will be good enough for the young Reggae Boyz to qualify for the FIFA Boys Under- 17 World Cup set to be held in Qatar in November with Jamaica and Canada locked on six points each.
Jamaica leads however on a superior goal-difference and a draw would see them return to the Under-17 World Cup for the first time since 2011.
Starting team-
O’Mario White-gk, Jaeden Morgan, Jaeshawn Edwards, Romie Henry, Jamone Lyle, Kelvin D Brown, Jahmaine Nolan-captain, Kenoy Banton, Duwayne Burgher, Raheem Kelly and Javan Foster.
