Marc Jacobs & Thom Browne snag Jamaica’s Naki Depass for new collections
As New York Fashion Week (NYFW) officially kicks off Wednesday in the Big Apple, Saint International model Naki Depass is staying ahead of the curve.
The 5’11 Jamaican stunner has already strutted the catwalk for two powerhouse American designers, Thom Browne and Marc Jacobs, who debuted their respective Fall 2026 collections off the NYFW schedule.
At the Park Avenue Armory on the Upper East Side on Monday night, Depass made the shortlist of faces for Jacobs’ 39-look collection titled “Memory.Loss.”
She wore a raven tank top and mini skirt that appeared like a perfect square sitting just below her ribcage. The fabric’s cut reinforced Jacobs’ established aesthetic of high-fashion geometry.
Front-row celebrities out for Jacobs’ latest collection reveal included Julia Fox, Nicky Hilton, Myha’la, Jessica Wang, June Ambrose, and Elia Grace Mendelsohn.
Three days prior, Depass jetted into San Francisco, California, for Browne’s co-ed collection show staged ahead of the Super Bowl that was also being held in the Golden State in Santa Clara.
Titled the GQ Bowl, and a partnership event with the iconic men’s magazine, the hyped collection hosted at the Legion of Honour Museum featured tailored skirt suits, moto jackets and tri-coloured winter coats, mostly in Browne’s trademark grey hues.
Depass was Look 39, attired in a preppy ensemble replete with a cardigan, miniskirt, button-up white shirt, tie and a leather jacket. She glided down the runway holding Browne’s new custom-designed Bose headphones, which a number of other models did too, whether in hand or over their crowns. In addition to Bose, the designer also showcased fresh collab sneaker designs with the shoewear line Asics.
Depass was joined at the Browne show by fellow Saint Romaine Dixon, who also flew in from New York for the hot-ticket fashion event that saw such notables as Teyana Taylor, Queen Latifah, Joshua Hong, Wisdom Kaye, Morgan Riddle, Suni Lee and Sauce Gardener in attendance.
