TODSS condemns ‘cold-blooded’ killing of taxi operator
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Transport Operators Development Sustainable Service (TODSS) has condemned what it described as the “cold-blooded” murder of a taxi operator in Annotto Bay, St Mary, on Monday night.
The body of 32-year-old Kemoy Findlay, also known as “Turbo” or “Walking Bank,” was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds along the Rosend main road about 9:30 pm.
Police sources told Observer Online that investigators suspect Findlay was targeted by individuals posing as passengers. His vehicle was reportedly stolen and later found abandoned along the Annotto Bay main road.

TODSS President Egeton Newman said the transport sector is mourning the loss of the first transport operator killed in 2026 and expressed hope that there will be no others.
“Condolences to his family, friends and colleagues in the transport sector,” Newman said.
“We strongly urge operators to try and know their passengers, especially those requesting long charter. We have to secure ourselves,” he added.
