Lion Face’s ‘Feel so Alive’ riding the charts a second week
When producer Lion Face brought Maxi Priest and Sean Paul together for a collaboration in 2025, he was confident they would create magic.
They did just that on Feel so Alive, their song which is currently number one for a second week on The Voice Of The Caribbean radio station’s weekly Florida Reggae And Dancehall Top 20 Radio Singles Chart.
“I believed in the song from day one. It’s only right, two reggae superstars,” said Lion Face in an interview with Observer Online. “I decided on this collaboration because it wasn’t thought of before, I thought it would make sense. Even better, they are good friends of mine.”
There are two versions of Feel so Alive, which was released late last year by Intercept Records. The cut riding the chart is mixed by Stephen Stanley, whose extensive resume includes songs by Black Uhuru, Grace Jones and The Tom Tom Club.
Feel so Alive is the Trinidad-born Lion Face’s latest production with Sean Paul, whom he has known before the deejay hit the big time with songs like Gimmie The Light.
Last year, he released On My Way Back Home, a song the Grammy winner did with Collie Buddz.
The positive response to Feel so Alive is even more special for Lion Face because it was released in the midst of tragic circumstances that led to widespread unity.
“This song was released the day (October 27) before (Hurricane) Melissa devastated western Jamaica. We are giving thanks to the world for its assistance with the Melissa recovery, we feel so alive and look forward taking it to the next level,” he said.
