48-hour curfew imposed in sections of St Andrew South Division
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in the St Andrew South policing division.
The curfew commenced at 6:00 pm on Monday, February 16, and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 18.
The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:
NORTH – From Happy Grove community drawn to Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield intersection following the divisional boundary.
EAST – From Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue travelling southerly to East Avenue intersecting at Marcus Garvey Drive.
SOUTH – From the coastline at Marcus Garvey Drive vicinity East Avenue to Duhaney River.
WEST- From the Duhaney River to Kingston Harbour
People within the boundaries are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
