Montego Bay Boys Club goes after second win
ST JAMES, Jamaica — Montego Bay Boys Club will be going after a second consecutive win on Friday when they take on Montego Bay United City Football Club (FC) in their St James Football Association/Sandals Resorts International Major League game at Wespow Park, starting at 3:30 pm.
Boys Club opened their season on Monday with a 2-0 win over Bogue FC and will take on MoBay City, who will be making their first appearance this season.
Also on Friday, former champions Granville United Real MoBay AFC will hope to get their first win when they meet at the Granville Community Centre.
Granville United gave up an own goal and were held to a 2-2 draw against Norwood Strikers last weekend while Real MoBay AFC were beaten 3-1 by Faulkland FC.
Four more games are down to be played on Saturday. Faulkland FC and Reggae Youths, joint leaders in Zone A, will be going after back-to-back wins when they play Norwood Strikers and Wadada FC, respectively.
Faulkland FC will face Norwood Strikers at Albion and Reggae Youths and Wadada FC will face off in the first game of a double header at Jarrett Park, set to start at 1:30 pm.
Lilliput Rovers will host Cambridge United at Spot Valley High and Bogue FC and Heights FC will meet in the second game of a double header at Jarrett Park.
