Holness travels to St Kitts and Nevis for 50th Caricom Heads of Government meeting
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Prime Minister Andrew Holness will depart the island on Monday for St Kitts and Nevis to attend the 50th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (Caricom).
Holness, who currently serves as the outgoing chair of Caricom, is expected to deliver remarks as he joins fellow regional leaders for key deliberations at the milestone meeting. The conference will bring together heads of government from across the Caribbean to discuss issues of regional importance.
The prime minister is scheduled to return to Jamaica on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
In his absence, Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, Olivia Grange, will be in charge of the Government.
