Plié for the Arts Presents Women of Vision: A Visionary Salon
On February 27, 2026, as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations, Plié for the Arts will present Women of Vision: A Visionary Salon, an intimate yet powerful gathering designed for conversation, connection, and cultural leadership. Women of Vision will be held at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel on Friday, February 27th at 10:00 am.
Plié’s inaugural Visionary Salon reimagines the historic salon tradition through a distinctly Caribbean lens, bold, globally engaged, and unapologetically influential. Led by women and centred on women’s perspectives, the salon brings iconic international visionaries into meaningful dialogue with Caribbean leaders, entrepreneurs, and thinkers.
Conceived as more than a panel discussion, the salon creates space for purposeful exchange, where lived experience meets strategy, creativity intersects with enterprise, and intergenerational wisdom shares the same table.
Acclaimed actress, director and cultural leader Phylicia Rashad is the salon’s featured speaker, who will engage attendees in an inspiring conversation on vision, creation, legacy, and power.
The event will also celebrate 12 extraordinary women of vision whose leadership has shaped diverse fields of endeavour including legal advocacy, jurisprudence, culinary arts, entrepreneurship, shipping, manufacturing, medicine, financial services, architecture, athletics, theatre and education.
The 2026 Women of Vision Honorees are:
Joy Spence, Appleton Estate’s master blender; Heather Goldson, chief marketing officer, Supreme Ventures Group; Isiaa Madden, principal architect and founder, Design HQ; Audrey Tugwell Henry, president & CEO, Scotia Group Jamaica; Jacqui Tyson, CEO, from Thought to Finish; Justice Simone Wolfe-Reece, Supreme Court of Judicature of Jamaica; Carolyn Reid Cameron, KC, public defender; Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, OJ, Olympic gold medallist, world champion and entrepreneur; Dr Hilary Ann Brown, FRCS, vascular surgeon; Corah Ann Robertson-Sylvester, CEO, Seaboard Freight & Shipping; Charlotte Ann Hayles, deputy chair, Arc Manufacturing; and Lisa Lake Epstein, CEO, Lake Group.

“The Visionary Salon is about positioning the Caribbean as a place where global ideas are not only discussed, but authored,” says Marisa Benain, founder and artistic director of Plié for the Arts.
“For 10 years, Plié has built platforms for artistic excellence and cultural exchange. With Women of Vision, we are deepening that work, creating intentional space for powerful women to share insight, forge alliances, and shape what comes next.”
Through the salon, Plié for the Arts is seeking to affirm the Caribbean as a source of ideas, authorship and global impact, where conversation ignites collaboration and vision becomes action.
