Schoolgirl among five injured in Manchester crash
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A schoolgirl is among five people who sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on the Winston Jones Highway in Manchester on Wednesday morning.
Police said the student attends the McIntosh Memorial Primary School near Williamsfield and Royal Flat in the parish.
Preliminary reports are that sometime before 8:00 am, there was slow-moving traffic travelling downhill on the Winston Jones Highway due to a broken-down vehicle.

Police said the driver of a pickup truck overtook a line of traffic and collided in the back of a Toyota Hiace bus. The impact resulted in the bus slamming into a Honda Fit and the latter into a Toyota Vitz.
Police said the pickup truck then overturned.
The injured people were removed from the vehicles and transported to medical facilities for evaluation.
