BUSINESS SOCIAL – February 27

Scotiabank hosted an evening called SME Soiree at CRU Rooftop Bar and Kitchen on Thursday night, bringing together entrepreneurs, business clients and partners to celebrate the achievements of its Vision Achiever programme participants and inspire the next wave of small business growth.

Held in a relaxed networking setting, the event highlighted the bank’s continued focus on supporting Jamaica’s small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs), with testimonials from Vision Achievers who shared how the programme has helped them strengthen their business operations, access financing, and expand market opportunities. Representatives from Scotiabank encouraged emerging entrepreneurs to join the initiative, outlining its mentorship, training and financing support and positioning it as a pathway for scaling sustainable enterprises. The evening blended recognition with motivation as guests connected, exchanged experiences, and explored opportunities for collaboration aimed at boosting entrepreneurial development across the SME sector.
