Porsche Jamaica, Latin America donate $6 million to FFP Melissa relief
Porsche Jamaica, represented by local importer ATL Automotive Group, has partnered with Porsche Latin America to support Food For the Poor in providing critical aid and rebuilding assistance to families and communities devastated by Hurricane Melissa in western Jamaica.
The contribution demonstrates Porsche’s dedication to supporting communities, building resilience, and providing disaster relief and recovery assistance throughout the region.
“The impact of Hurricane Melissa has been deeply felt across western Jamaica and, responding in a meaningful way, required collaboration. Through this partnership with Porsche Latin America we are proud to support Food For The Poor in delivering both immediate relief and long-term recovery to affected communities. This initiative reflects our shared commitment to standing with Jamaica in times of need,” said Mark Dommisse, managing director, ATL Automotive Group.
While the donation represents a one-time financial contribution, Porsche Jamaica has also expressed its intention to continue supporting Food for the Poor’s initiatives through future team involvement and community-focused efforts.
Food for the Poor Jamaica welcomed the support, noting that partnerships with regional and international organisations are vital to strengthening disaster response and ensuring sustained assistance to vulnerable communities.
This initiative forms part of Porsche Jamaica’s broader commitment to corporate social responsibility and regional solidarity, particularly in the face of natural disasters affecting the Caribbean.
