Wholesale changes for U20 Reggae Boyz against Cayman at Concacaf qualifiers
KINGSTON, Jamaica—The Jamaican coaching staff at the CONCACAF U-20 Qualifiers – Round 1 in Curacao has made wholesale changes to the starting team to face the Cayman Island in their Group B game at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, on Friday.
Goalkeeper Johnoi Steadman will start in goal, replacing Joshua Grant who started the two previous games, wins over Bonaire and Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI).
Earl Dennis gets his first start, along with Giovanni Taylor who came off the bench to score two goals in Wednesday’s 7-0 win over TCI; Jamoy Dennis who was red-carded against Bonaire gets his first start; Duwayne Burgher returns after sitting out the game against TCI, while Odane Wilberforce, Santana Headley and Orel Miller are also included.
Jamaica won their first two games to be on six points, while the Cayman Islands have lost both of their games.
