Police search for Ocho Rios High schoolboy after classmate injured

ST ANN, Jamaica — Police are searching for an Ocho Rios High School student after his schoolmate was injured during an altercation earlier Wednesday.

Police confirmed to Observer Online that two male students of the institution were involved in a physical altercation during which a metal chair was used by one young man to hit the other in the back of the head.

The injured teen was rushed to hospital but his current condition remains unknown.

Reports are that the offending student was brought to the police by a teacher but escaped.
