Vacae Weekend promises epic Easter party run
The 2026 Easter holiday weekend is set to arrive with a serious pulse as Vacae Weekend rolls into the spotlight April 3-6.
Promising four days of non-stop celebration built around six of Jamaica’s hottest events, the party series is designed for revellers who know how to chase a good time and seems to already be building anticipation across the entertainment scene.
With title sponsor Campari backing the experience and boldly dubbing it “the party weekend not to be missed”, Vacae Weekend is shaping up to be a high-energy escape at which music, style, and unforgettable vibes collide — giving partygoers every reason to clear their schedules and dive head-first into what could be one of the most talked-about party runs of the season.
“We started this concept in 2019, and since that time our goal has been to create an experience where people from Jamaica and all over the world come together to celebrate music, culture, and spirit,” said Andrew Ellis, chief executive officer at Twenty14, curators of Vacae Weekend. “Events like this series are about much more than entertainment; it’s about creating spaces where the culture is celebrated, where creativity thrives, and where people connect through shared language and experience.”
Marketing manager of the Campari group Pavell Smith said parent company J Wray & Nephew prioritises events that promote creativity and culture and is happy to be part of this year’s party series.
He heaped praise on the Vacae Weekend team for the vision in curating an event that seamlessly connects music, fashion, and responsible indulgence.
“At Wray & Nephew we represent brands that are deeply rooted in culture, lifestyle, and entertainment. Once you say party, you say Wray & Nephew, and that’s what Vacae Weekend is all about,” he said. “We take the experience beyond just a bottle on your table; we go beyond the music to create those moments of connection. This is a major cultural movement in our event landscape, and this Easter weekend is definitely something not to be missed.”
He went on to share that Armanii and Malie Donn, believed to be two of the hottest acts in dancehall right now, will be performing live, as well as international star Fabolous.
“That rap sensation taking things to the Jamaican stage will make the weekend special and shows that these guys are pulling out all the stops,” added Smith.
When Vacae Weekend takes over Ocho Rios in April patrons can look forward to the polished atmosphere of The Estate, the beachside energy of Sandz, and the bold, late-night allure of Risqué. The line-up also features the relaxed yet stylish setting of The Lawn, the playful daytime spirit of Pic-Nic, and the crowd-favourite Tropical Saturday, which consistently delivers vibrant music, fashion, and unforgettable party moments.
Together the six experiences form the heartbeat of Vacae Weekend, giving revellers a carefully curated circuit of events at which the music will be pumping, the energy high, and the vibes — fuelled by title sponsor Campari — expected to flow strong from start to finish.
Minister of Entertainment and Culture Olivia “Babsy” Grange, in highlighting the value of the local entertainment industry, said party series like Vacae Weekend show that the event circuit is thriving and noted that when entertainment thrives, Jamaica thrives.
“Entertainment is work, but entertainment is worth. It is one of Jamaica’s most powerful engines of growth, so when our creatives thrive, Jamaica thrives. When our creatives make money, Jamaica makes money,” she said. “The great weekend that is coming up will transform Ocho Rios into a living stage where our sound systems meet our shorelines and our entrepreneurial energy meets an audience from across Jamaica and the Diaspora. This is more than a party series; it’s a platform, and it’s growing with intent.”
With six signature events, a stacked performance line-up and four days of non-stop energy, Vacae Weekend already has an early buzz as a precursor to the premium vibes when the celebration unfolds this April.
