Decomposed body of missing woman found in Manchester
MANCHESTER, Jamaica— A decomposed body believed to be that of a missing woman was found at a house in Plowden district, south Manchester, Friday afternoon.
Residents and the police told Observer Online that the body is believed to be that of Rose Marie Supersad, 54, otherwise called “Annie”, a resident of Plowden. The woman is said to be of unsound mind and was reported as missing since February 16.
Residents said shortly after 2:00 pm, the grim discovery of the decomposed body was made when checks were done at a house. Residents said the house has been vacant for years.
Up to midafternoon, police were processing the scene. Police are also awaiting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
