Cops release composite sketch of alleged liquor thief
PORTLAND, Jamaica — Police in Portland have released a composite sketch of a suspect they say swindled over $100,000 worth of liquor from a local guest house in 2025.
Wanted in connection with a case of obtaining goods by false pretence, the individual is known by the names ‘Dr Jamaurie Allen,’ ‘Dr Jay,’ or ‘Jay’ and is believed to reside in Montego Bay.
According to police reports, around 10:00 am at a local guest house in Portland on July 25, 2025, the suspect allegedly obtained liquor valued at over $100,000 from the guesthouse under false pretence before fleeing the scene.
All efforts to contact him for payment for the goods since then have been unsuccessful.
The San San Police are urging the suspect to surrender voluntarily at the station. They are also appealing to members of the public who may have information to contact the San San Police at 876-993-3220, Crime Stop at 311, the police emergency 119 number or the nearest police station.
