Day to remember for Nunes, Roman
TRAINER Anthony Nunes and jockey Raddesh Roman recorded five winners each to dominate the 11-race card at Caymanas Park on Saturday.
Nunes and Roman combined to win three races — Of a Revolution, Bowmore, and One Ianzha Links.
Of a Revolution’s victory was in the $1.75-million Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited (SVREL) 9th Anniversary Trophy feature over five and a half furlongs (1,100m).
Nunes’ other winners were Papi Uso (Javaniel Patterson) and Neo Star (Tajay Suckoo) in the second staging of the $125-million International Women’s Day Trophy secondary feature.
Roman was also successful aboard Storm for trainer Adrian Price and He Stands Alone for trainer Gary Crawford.
The action continues with back-to-back race days on Saturday and Sunday.
