News that international chef and restaurateur Scotley Innis was on the island, courtesy of Scotiabank Jamaica, drew hundreds — among them some of Jamaica’s top Grammy-nominated reggae stars — to the Festival Market Place, downtown Kingston, for the Jamaica Food + Drink Festival’s (JFDF) Kuyah. There, guests enjoyed lively juggling from “The Vibes Minister” DJ Fyahman; sipped on beers, expertly crafted cocktails, and Jamaican rums; and savoured dishes from Innis and a dozen other chefs.
