UPDATE: Infant identified after fiery death

ST JAMES, Jamaica — The baby girl who died in a fire in Guinep Tree Lane in Montpelier, St James on Tuesday has been identified.

She is six-month-old Nymerah Graham.

Graham succumbed to injuries she sustained after a fire raged through the house she shared with her parents and siblings.

Reports are that she received burns all over her body despite the efforts of family members to rescue her. Another child was reportedly injured during the incident.

Fire investigators are currently on the scene.
