G Cole releases ‘I’m in Love’ ahead of upcoming album

G Cole releases ‘I’m in Love’ ahead of upcoming album

Singer G Cole is preparing to release his fourth album, three years after his previous collection hit the market. In an interview with Observer Online, he said the yet-titled work is tentatively scheduled to be out in April.

The South Florida-based artiste hinted that its songs are not as sensual as most of the music he has done.

“It doesn’t have a lot of love songs on it, because it’s telling a specific story, so I figured I’d give the lovers something to groove to, while they wait on the project,” said G Cole.

I’m in Love is the song he hopes fans will warm to as the album is being packaged. The self-produced single was released in March and has enjoyed steady rotation in South Florida.

Like with I’m in Love, G Cole was heavily involved in the production of the upcoming album. Being in the music business for over 20 years has given him the experience to guide himself in the recording studio.

“The most enjoyable part about producing myself is the creative and artistic freedom, not just musically. I can be silly if I want to, I can create a six-minute song if I want to, and I don’t have to explain the vision to someone else,” he stated.

This Music Vol I Return to Vintage is G Cole’s first album, released in 2007. Six years later came Ocho Rios, a salute to his hometown.

His previous album, This Music 2.0, came out in 2023. He is also a broadcaster who hosts Homegrown With G Cole, a show simulcast on 13 stations.
