UPDATE: Second victim succumbs in Manchester crash
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — Police have confirmed that a second victim has succumbed to injuries sustained in a crash on the Pen Hill main road in Manchester on Thursday.
Police identified him as Livingston McEwan.
Earlier police said another man identified as Lemar Lewis died in the crash. Both men were employed by the National Water Commission (NWC).
Police said both men were traveling downhill in a Suzuki Swift motorcar when a Toyota Wish motor car traveling in the opposite direction failed to keep left resulting in a head- on collision.
Three injured people were taken to hospital where McEwan and Lewis were pronounced dead. The driver of the Toyota Wish has been admitted in critical condition.
