WATCH: Two drivers injured in three-vehicle crash in Central Village
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — Two motorists were reportedly rushed to hospital following a three-vehicle collision in Central Village, St Catherine, on Thursday morning.
The drivers’ conditions are not yet known.
Reports indicate that a Jamaica Urban Transit Company Limited (JUTC) bus was stationary at the bus stop when it was struck from behind by a Suzuki motor car, which then hit another Suzuki motor car. The incident reportedly occurred sometime after 6:00 am.
The crash has resulted in a pile-up in traffic eastbound along the Mandela Highway in the vicinity of Chinatown, Central Village.
The police are advising the motoring public to exercise caution and use alternative routes where possible.
