Roaring River will put their unbeaten record on the line when they host leaders Humble Lion in a top-of-the-zone game in the Jamaica Football Championship, set to start this afternoon at 3:30.

Only two points separate the leading teams in Zone B, with Humble Lion FC in front on 13 points. Westmoreland-based Roaring River are right behind them with hopes of taking over the lead.

Roaring River FC, coming off a rest week, face a Humble Lion FC team that managed a close win over another Westmoreland team, Petersfield FC, last weekend.

Roaring River and Humble Lion have been proficient in defence so far, each allowing only three goals. The game could come down to which of the teams make the best of their chances.

Kajaye Williams leads Roaring River FC with four goals, while Nathaniel Henry has also scored four for the Clarendon-based club which was relegated from the Jamaica Premier League last season.

Sakka Club Brown’s Town (13 points), the leaders in Zone A, are set to play away to Gray’s Inn SC.

Sakka Club are hoping to continue their good run when they put their five-game unbeaten record on the line against a Gray’s Inn which has not scored in last previous outings.

Lime Hall Academy and Tru-Juice FC, both unbeaten and both on 11 points, are to meet at Dinthill Technical in Linstead, as both try to stay in touch with Sakka Club Browns Town.

Lime Hall, who lead the league with 15 goals scored, are ahead of Tru-Juice on goal-difference. Lime Hall will hope Carlos Campbell and Sajay Anderson, who have combined for seven goals, could give them the edge.

Tru-Juice FC have conceded just four times in five games, and will hope they can use home advantage to their benefit.
