48-hour curfew imposed in March Pen, Spanish Town
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in the March Pen community in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
The curfew commenced at 6:00 pm on Monday, March 16 and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm, Wednesday, March 18.
The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:
NORTH: From the intersection of Salt Island Road and the Spanish Town Bypass at the stoplight to the intersection of White Church Street and Salt Pond Road in the vicinity of the stoplight traveling;
EAST: From to the intersection of White Church Street and Salt Pond Road in the vicinity of the stoplight traveling along Salt Pond Road;
SOUTH: From the Toll Road in the vicinity of the Bridge at Salt Pond Road traveling along the toll; and
WEST: From the ending of the southern boundary at the intersection of Salt Island Road and Toll Road traveling along Salt Island Roadway.
During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
