Four people narrowly escape serious injuries in Spanish Town Road accident
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Four people, including a pedestrian, narrowly escaped serious injuries when a truck slammed into the back of a van on Spanish Town Road on Wednesday afternoon.
About 1:00 pm, traffic halted on a bridge on the roadway to allow a pedestrian to cross the busy thoroughfare in the west bound lane.
However, while the woman was crossing the road, a truck slammed into a Toyota minivan and pushed it into the back of another vehicle.
The pedestrian ran across the road during the ordeal before standing in disbelief as drivers exited their vehicles to examine the damage caused by the accident.
A passenger in the minivan held his head in pain immediately after the collision.
