Competitive-looking Sir Howard Stakes

The native-bred three-year-old colts and geldings will start their journey on the ‘Road to the Triple Crown” in the $1.2-million Sir Howard Stakes tomorrow. The Restricted Allowance II contest will run over 6 furlongs (1,200m).
Below is the analysis of the 10 runners entered and their chances of winning.
1. FIDELITY: (3 b g by Bern Identity – Hush My Darling) – Isn’t expected to be a major contender.
2. DASHALLDAY: (3 b c by Aveenu Malcainu – Runallday) – Finished in third place behind two talented foreigners on last.
Dashallday has been training well coming into this race and facing only local runners here, he is tipped to win.
3. UNCLE NALLY: (3 b c by Successful Native – Kit De Luca) – Can safely be bypassed.
4. MOHANLAL: (3 b c by Casual Trick – Raise Your Voice) – Underperformed last time, but looks better at exercise and is expected to improve. He previously won the Miss Ruth Trophy on December 20, 2025, with a dominant 8 ½-length victory.
5. SO LUCKY AM I: (3 b c by Successful Native – Ashitrid) – A winner on debut who is not expected to repeat here.
6. SALUTE THE DON: (3 ch c by Aveenu Malcainu – Abicadabby) – Talented colt who makes his seasonal debut here. Salute The Don finished 5 lengths in second place behind We Jammin in the Jamaica Two-Year-Old Stakes in December 2025. He has been timely prepared for this and is expected to fight out the finish.
7. DARWIN: (3 b c by Casual Trick – Cape) – Has no chance whatsoever of winning.
8. MANOLETTI MAJESTIC: (3 ch c by Bern Identity – Gentle Officer) – Highly rated runner who was an impressive winner on debut. Manoletti Majestic steps up here to compete and is expected to make a brave bid.
9. LONDON SPIRIT: (3 b c by Bern Identity – Blufield) – Might manage a minor placing, but isn’t a top contender.
10. GOD’S PLAN: (3 ch c by Aveenu Malcainu – Fearless Abi) – Lacks form and isn’t expected to challenge.
