Goule-Toppin, Anderson miss out on 800m finals at word indoors
Jamaica’s 800m representatives Natoya Goule-Toppin and Navasky Anderson both failed to get past their semi-finals on Saturday’s second day of the World Athletics Indoor Championships at Kujawsko-Pomorska Arena in Toruń, Poland.
Goule-Toppin was fourth in her semi-final race, running 2:00.69, faster than the 2:01.32 she had run in the first round on Friday’s first day.
Anderson was third in his semi-final in his first World Indoors, in 1:46.65, slower than the 1:46.34 he had run in the first round.
