Sprint star Kishane, Jump king Jordan deliver for Jamaica at World Indoors
Jamaica’s Kishane Thompson raced to a personal best 6.45 seconds to take silver in the men’s 60 metre at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Tor
ú n, Poland, on Friday.
Thompson, the World and Olympic 100m silver medallist, placed second to US newcomer Jordan Anthony, who clocked a season’s best of 6.41 seconds for the gold medal, while American Trayvon Bromell claimed bronze.
Jamaica also secured another silver medal when Jordan Scott placed second in the men’s triple jump.
